8/19のエントリーで紹介したMailplaneですがバージョンアップに伴い日本語のリソースが追加されたようで普通に日本語で設定をすることができるようになりました。
ご覧のように日本語化され設定するのも敷居が低くなったようです（まあもともと設定はそんなに難しくないが・・・）

バージョンアップの中身ですがメールに記載されていた内容を引用します

MORE LANGUAGES
Choose from these six new languages:

These translators did a great job - send them your feedback by using the “Help->Feedback and Support” menu item. There is a special “Compose Mail…” button to notify the translator of the current language. Mailplane is now usable in eleven languages. German, French, Polish, Romanian, and of course English are all up-to-date, too.

IMEDIA BROWSER
No need to open iPhoto, iTunes, or iMovie to send attachments: There is a brand-new iMedia browser right inside Mailplane. Open it and then drag and drop photos, movies, or music to your message. Use “Window->iMedia Browser” to get started.

MAC ADDRESS BOOK
Insert email addresses directly from your Mac address book into your TO, CC, BCC, or message field. It works much like the text snippets panel: Press Cmd-Shift-A to open the panel, search for one or more addresses. Press Enter to close the panel and insert the addresses at the focused field. Works with address groups, too. You’ll find the panel in the “Mail->Insert” sub menu.

FORMAT RICH TEXT
There is a new “Format” menu to make text bold (Cmd-B), italic (Cmd-I), or underlined (Cmd-U). Quickly access colors (Cmd-Option-C), too. And finally center (Cmd-|), left align (Cmd-{), or right align (Cmd-}) paragraphs.

CREATE NEW GMAIL ACCOUNT
New to Gmail? Need to create a new Gmail account? Like to try Google Apps? Just press the “Create new Gmail account” in either the Authentication window or Accounts preferences.

CLEAN ALL DOWNLOADS
Download window: There is a new button to clean the list of finished and cancelled downloads.

INSERT FILE
Press (Cmd-Shift-F) to directly attach a file. The command is located in the “Mail->Insert” menu. Both the dock menu and notifier menu contain a new “Send message with file…” items.

CHANGES
- “Edit->Attach screenshot” has been moved to “Mail->Insert”
- Insert Text Snippets is in “Mail->Insert” and has a new Shortcut (Cmd-Option-I)
- Toolbar “fixed Space” in customize panel
- Google Find” menu item has a new Shortcut: Cmd-Shift-F
- Less icon bounce at startup
- Notifier menu: Moved the “Open Main window” menu item up
- Pictures can now be dropped on the message text to attach them to the current message. Tip: drop the image on the app icon to create a new message.
- The last active preference window tab is remembered in user defaults

BUG FIXES
- Focus problem after clicking “Reply” (characters get executed instead of entered). Mailplane includes a WebKit workaround, the final fix will be provided by Apple/WebKit (http://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15117).
- Links stopped working after sending a message with a faulty email address
- After long inactivity froze on click or refresh
- Window resize when opening drawer didn’t work with multiple screens
- Preference window position after restart
- Removed obsolete characters from Google Talk notification.
- “Ghost” Talk window when closing talk window before it finished loading
- Crash when closing an initializing separate compose window

TIPS
- Toolbar/Menu isn’t usable? Enable “keyboard shortcuts” in your Gmail settings.
- “offline” indicator doesn’t go away? Disable it in Mailplane’s advanced preferences.
- Lost the “Welcome to Mailplane” beta info email? Goto http://mailplaneapp.com/beta/index.html and enter your email address to get a fresh copy.
